1. Who we are
Zagdim (zagdim.com) is operated by Great First Digital Link Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong, at 12/F, Hang Seng Causeway Bay Building, 28 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data across our website, Zagdim AI, newsletters, social media accounts and reader services.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us: name or how you’d like to be addressed, email, phone, social media handle, location and the details of your enquiry, when you use our forms, subscribe to our newsletter, chat with Zagdim AI, or contact us via WhatsApp, LINE or email.
- Information collected automatically: pages viewed, clicks, device and browser type, approximate location. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and some forms are provided by HubSpot. These tools use cookies, which you can block or delete in your browser settings.
- Zagdim AI conversations: used to answer your questions and improve answer quality; kept for 12 months and then deleted, or earlier on request.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiries and provide the information or services you ask for.
- With your consent, to refer your request to a suitable professional (for example a lawyer, accountant or property agent). We tell you before any referral.
- To send newsletters you subscribed to; every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- To understand which content is useful and improve our site and articles.
- We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers you agree to be referred to (only what is needed for your request).
- Vendors that help us operate, such as hosting, forms and CRM (HubSpot), newsletter and analytics tools, acting on our instructions.
- Authorities where required by law.
5. Retention
- Enquiries and service records: 3 years after last contact.
- Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, unsubscribe at any time, or withdraw referral consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 40 days.
7. Security
We protect data with access controls and encrypted connections. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you as required by law.
8. Our use of YouTube API Services
Zagdim uses YouTube API Services to read publicly available video information on YouTube (such as titles, publish dates, view counts and public comments) as one of several sources for editorial research and market trend analysis.
- We do not access anyone’s YouTube account through the YouTube API and do not ask you to authorise access.
- We do not download or republish video content.
- By using features that rely on YouTube API Services you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

- Data obtained from the YouTube API is refreshed or deleted within 30 days unless otherwise approved by YouTube.
9. Children
Our content and services are intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes and announce material changes on our site.
